CONTEST RULES

  

1. Contest are open to all WIRY listeners 18 years of age or older except promotional partners and employees and immediate families of Hometown Radio Inc., their successors, agents, affiliates or subsidiaries and employees of other radio stations.
2. Listeners are eligible to win WIRY contests no more than once every four (4) weeks, except in the High/Low Jackpot game. Winners of the High/Low Jackpot can only win once. One winner per household per contest per month. Listeners are eligible to win a specific WIRY contest (trip, etc.) only once during its run.
3. Listeners are eligible to win prizes valued at $600 or more no more than once every eighteen (18) months.
4. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or refundable. WIRY reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value should a prize or any portion thereof become unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of WIRY.
5. Winners must pick up prizes Monday-Friday 9am-4pm at WIRY, 301 Cornelia Street, Plattsburgh, New York. Picture identification is required. Winners forfeit prizes not claimed with two (2) weeks of winning.
6. Payment of any and all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners are required to sign a waiver acknowledging acceptance of any prize valued at $600 or more. Winners will receive an IRS 1099 form for prizes valued at $600 or more. The value of the prize will be state on the waiver and on any and all corresponding tax forms. A winner has the right to forfeit the prize, and another will not be awarded in its place.
7. For prizes  valued at $600 or more and/or trips, winners and participants must sign a liability waiver prior to receipt of the prize. Pursuant to the liability waiver, winners and participants agree to hold WIRY and Hometown Radio, Inc, their corporate licensees, promotional partners, sponsors and officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims and/or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the prize and/or contest.
8. By participating in contests, winners and participants agree to have their name, voice and/or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to contests.
9. There is no purchase necessary to participate in WIRY contests.
10. Contests void where prohibited by law.
11. Contest rules may vary with individual contests. Contests are governed by these general rules and any additional and/or amended rules. Contest rules are available during regular business hours at WIRY, 301 Cornelia Street, Plattsburgh, New York or on line at wiry.com.
12. WIRY reserves the right to amend contest rules anytime. Any changes to rules are available in writing and effective upon announcement. The decision of WIRY management with regard to WIRY contests is final. By participating in contests, entrants, winners and guests agree to be bound by contest rules. Failure to comply with contest rules may result in disqualification.
